Acceptance of terms

1. By accessing or using One question daily, you agree to be bound by these terms of service and by our privacy policy.
2. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the service.
3. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Description of the service

One question daily publishes a single new question each day. Registered and unregistered visitors may submit a text answer to that question, choosing between a public visibility (shown to other visitors) or, for registered users, a private visibility (visible only to the author).

Accounts

1. You may use One question daily without an account to submit anonymous public answers, or create a free account to unlock private answers, likes and a personal answer history.
2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your profile information reasonably up to date.
4. One person may not create multiple accounts for the purpose of manipulating likes or circumventing these terms.

User content and acceptable use

1. You retain ownership of the answers you write. By submitting a public answer, you grant One question daily a non-exclusive license to display that content on the relevant question page and in any archive or listing of public answers.
2. Private answers are stored on your behalf and are not licensed for public display; they remain visible only to you within the application.
3. You are solely responsible for the content of your answers, whether public or private.

When submitting an answer, you agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful or discriminatory.
• Infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Contains malicious code, spam, or automated bulk submissions.
• Impersonates another person or entity in a misleading way.
• Attempts to exploit or disrupt the normal operation of the service.

Visibility settings are your responsibility

You are responsible for choosing the correct visibility (public or private) before submitting each answer. One question daily is not responsible for the consequences of an answer being published publicly when you intended it to remain private, or vice versa, though we design the interface to make this choice clear before you submit.

Intellectual property

The One question daily name, interface design and underlying source code are the property of their respective owners and are not licensed to you by virtue of using the service. This does not affect your ownership of the answers you write, as described above.

Suspension and termination

1. We may suspend or terminate access to your account if you violate these terms, including by posting prohibited content or attempting to abuse the like or answer systems.
2. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.
3. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licensing for previously published public answers) will continue to apply.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

1. One question daily is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
2. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
3. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, One question daily and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the service operator is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms periodically. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do, and, where changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to bring them to your attention.
